Commit to fail at least one thing every day

Commit to failing at something every day. Sounds counterintuitive, right? But here's the thing: without trying, attempting, and failing, there's no chance of success. None at all.

Think about it. You have 24 hours each day to fail at something, anything. It could be drawing a not-so-great portrait, starting a new venture, writing an article, or trying out a new recipe.

The point is to view your failures and goals differently. Aim to fail at least once daily because the objective isn't immediate success; it's about taking the first step.

How often have you thought, "I could never do X" or "I don't think I can do Y"? Try it. Fail at it. And who knows? You might end up enjoying it, getting better at it, or even excelling at it.

Whenever you catch yourself saying "I couldn't possibly do that," pause and think, "Today, I will fail at this." It's about pushing yourself to act, to try things you wouldn't normally consider.

Need some inspiration for things to fail at? Here are a few ideas:

  • Doing X pushups tomorrow morning
  • Writing a 500-word article on a topic you're passionate about
  • Speaking a foreign language with a colleague or friend for 5 minutes
  • Asking a question or making a suggestion in a meetingSo, what are you going to fail at today?
